This is the first LNG tanker that Vietnam Gas Corporation (PV Gas) imports LNG to Vietnam to supply the southern region market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thi Vai LNG terminal system of PV Gas has a storage capacity of 180,000m3, capacity of 1 million tons of LNG\/year. The wharf is designed to accommodate LNG tankers with a tonnage of up to 100,000DWT.<sup>3<\/sup>, c\u00f4ng su\u1ea5t 1 tri\u1ec7u t\u1ea5n LNG\/n\u0103m, c\u1ea7u c\u1ea3ng \u0111\u01b0\u1ee3c thi\u1ebft k\u1ebf \u0111\u1ec3 ti\u1ebfp nh\u1eadn t\u00e0u LNG t\u1ea3i tr\u1ecdng l\u00ean \u0111\u1ebfn 100.000DWT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The process of completing Thi Vai LNG Terminal project chain of PV Gas has been marked by a highly anticipated event today. This is a \"historic moment\" of Vietnam's gas industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The import of LNG is considered an important solution to ensure national energy security, long-term conversion of fuels for power generation such as coal, oil to natural gas. At the same time, this promotes the realization of Vietnam's commitments at COP26.
