As part of the program celebrating the 60th anniversary of Construction Consultation Joint Stock Company for Maritime Building (8 August 1966 – 8 August 2026), the Company organized an outing and recreational program from 6 to 8 August 2026 under the theme “Connect – Pride – Breakthrough.” The program brought together retired employees from different periods, current officers, engineers, employees, workers, and their families. It provided an opportunity for generations of CMB members to meet and interact, reflect on six decades of development, and foster a joyful and united spirit.
The series of activities began with the CMB Football Tournament, featuring friendly matches between teams from the North and South. The exciting matches demonstrated sportsmanship, solidarity, and fair play. Beyond promoting physical fitness, the tournament provided opportunities for employees from different regions to interact and build stronger connections. Through the matches, members gained a deeper understanding of one another and strengthened their bonds. The goals, outstanding plays, and joyful moments after the games created lasting memories, helping bridge geographical distances, strengthen team unity, and energize the CMB collective for its new development journey.
That evening, the CMB Singing Contest featured numerous performances by participating units. The stage brought together singers from the Company and its branches, with the special participation of retired employees. Carefully prepared performances created a warm and vibrant evening of cultural exchange, helping connect generations of CMB members. In particular, performances by retired employees after the main competition brought intimate and emotional moments. This was a distinctive highlight of the program, demonstrating CMB’s spirit of connection and appreciation for every generation that has contributed to the Company’s development.
Team Building was another indispensable activity of the outing program and one of its most prominent collective events. This year’s Team Building program was held under the theme “United to Ride the Waves.” Each challenge required participants to coordinate, share, support one another, and work toward a common goal. No one could complete the journey alone; strength emerged when each member brought their own strengths while moving forward alongside their teammates. The program created many memorable moments during CMB’s 60th anniversary celebrations, strengthening connections among departments, regions, and generations and providing renewed energy for every member to move forward together on the Company’s new development journey.
The second CMB Pickleball Tournament also took place that afternoon. The event created a setting that combined healthy competition with social interaction, giving members more opportunities to meet, compete, and cheer one another on. The energetic matches reinforced the spirit of “stay healthy to work, stay healthy to contribute, stay healthy to grow together,” while providing another space for members from different departments, generations, and regions to interact, coordinate, and strengthen team spirit.
With an employee-centered culture, CMB will continue to innovate and develop appropriate policies, improve employees’ cultural and spiritual well-being, and create a better working environment so that employees can work with confidence and contribute wholeheartedly toward the shared goal of enabling CMB to continue moving forward, innovating, and reaching further.
