The company takes pride in being a consultancy whose formation and growth have been closely linked to the 60-year development of Vietnam’s maritime sector. Following the establishment of the Maritime Transport Department (now the Vietnam Maritime and Waterway Administration) on May 5, 1965, the Ministry of Transport issued Decision No. 1200/QĐ dated August 8, 1966, establishing a Survey and Design Team under the Department to undertake the surveying and design of maritime infrastructure projects.

Renamed to Marine Construction Consulting Company

Developed the Master Plan for Vietnam's Seaport System Development to 2010 — Vietnam's first seaport master plan
2004
Equitized and began operating as a joint stock company.

Awarded the Third-Class Independence Medal
